Reflections of 911

Eight months after his first inauguration, the nation, and the world, changed.
Almost Six years ago, the world admitted to itself less than it does today.
Almost Six years ago, the world understood less than it does today.
Almost Six years ago, the world was prepared less than it is today.
Almost Six years ago the world was united less than it is today.

Eight months after his first inauguration the nation — and the world — was transformed on a bright blue September morning. The terrorists destroyed innocent lives on American soil that sad September day, but not American idealism. We argue about means, not ends. Now as then we remain “confident in principles that unite and lead us onward.”

All of the above is still true in general… until an election starts. This was the first happening of it’s kind that Americans have experienced. Your opinion matters, but that doesn’t mean your idea is the best idea. Everyone has a better idea AFTER someone else does the hard part of making a decision based on the information they are given.
